This morning dawn patrol the bite was almost totally off a few small Bluefish were caught early at Juno Pier and a couple decent jacks but the fish schools have moved out my guess is south to Lake Worth Inlet and Phips Ocean Reef Park\LW Pier. Nothing was caught in Jupiter.
Conditions: NE wind cranking pretty good, surf was moderate
Lures: Yozuri live bait minnow jig 1oz, buck tail jig black and white 1/2 OZ
Action: Cast every which direction I can think of to get a bite its slim pickings!
Today I traced my tracks from yesterday to see if the conditions were going to stay the same minus the difference in the tide. When I arrived to Jupiter beach I went directly tothe same spot everything was happening and the bait was mostly gone. Theres e were schools of finger mullet and pilchards passing through but not 1000′s of them like the day prior. I caught a small jack. A guy I passed was happy to show me a tarpon scale he ended up with after jumping a tarpon on a He dog top water lure a nice memory for him to take home.
I took a run back home to Juno Beach stopped at Loggerhead Park at the entrance I a couple guys getting into some blue fish I couldn’t resist a few more casts. looks like the bluefish are moving south.

Was able to get out this morning with my brother in law it was an awesome time bait was stacked on the beaches and bluefish, Jacks, Ladyfish, and a few Tarpon were feeding. We started fishing in the dark and the Ladyfish seemed to be the ones working the shoreline. Then as daybreak came Bluefish started coming through in large schools mixed in were some jacks. Mullet were beaching themselves getting stranded. Today we decided to keep a few for the smoker!

Since the beach fishing action had slowed in Juno Beach I took a quick drive up to North Jupiter Inlet Beaches see what was going on. The beach is completely loaded with mullet they are every where various sizes. Tarpon, Bluefish, and Jacks are taking turns I haven’t come across any Snook fora few days but a gentleman I passed today said he caught and released two small ones on a silver spoon. I used the Yozuri Live Bait minnow Jig 1oz rigged with a circle hook instead of the treble hooks. This way I can release the fish without injuring them and get right back to fishing quickly.
I caught several jacks and Blue fish almost every cast none over 4 lbs were caught I decided to give their jaws a break and take some video of the mullet schooled up in the shallows check it out!
Mullet Video:
There are definitely larger fish in the area feeding early morning in the dark several dead ullet on the beacj bitten in half large bite marks its probably best to fish the incoming to hight tide and then the first couple hours of outgoing tide.
Conditions: WNW light wind, surf was moderate, tide was slack then incoming

Fishing conditions have changed a little bit in Juno Beach it seems the large mullet schools have moved out and the pilchards and baby runners have moved in. There isnt a whole lot of pressure on them. I think its in part due to the tides. I had some action in the beginning hooked up with 3 Bluefish 2-4lb range then a couple small jacks less than a lb larger fish are holding just beyond the sandbar.
Conditions: WNW breezy, surf was moderate, tide was incoming
Lures: Yozuri live bait minnow jig, buck tail jig black and white 1/2 OZ
Action: I was working the lure in the water columns available mostly parallel to shore but sometimes diagonal. Faster retrieve than normal to keep up with the wave action and rip current.
Cold front finally made it through last night bringing temperatures down to the 60′s it was a refreshing bike ride to the beach nice cool air. When I got to the spot tide was out pretty far and seas were flat not really worth fishing. I didn’t see any significant bait some small pilchards. I am sure there were some small jacks around on the incoming tide but the Bluefish have moved out for today. Got some nice pics instead.
We have a front passing through producing more rain and wind almost through it by tonight. This morning the fish in numbers just were not there but I had a steady bite catching Bluefish, Ladyfish, and Jacks. Only one blue fish was 6lb range. I think its a lter bite this week have to pop out see what happening for the weekend.
Conditions: Wind, rain, no bait, seas kicked up SE swell water clarity sandy blue…
Lures Used: Bucktail Jig black and white 1 oz And Yozuri Live Bait minnow jig 1oz
Action: working back sides of wave sets staying in the white foam to produce strikes.
It was windy and raining when I got to Loggerhead beach this morning waves were kicking tide was strange. Several Blue fish were caught early then they vanished only getting a few stragglers. It appears we have some Lady fish hanging around I hooked 2-3 saw a few other caught. The blue fish were not in numbers like the day before I brought the GoPro camera and pole extension hoping to get some more video of them schooled up in the shallows but my timing was off. There seems to be a trend starting early morning bite say 5-7 am or so then stops til 10am then picks up again, bigger fish are showing up later Bluefish go from 2-3lbs to 8-10lb have seem some big ones in the surf coming down a wave. tight lines…
